Amanda is a graduate of the Best Friends Professional Dog Trainer’s Program. Her interest in dog training took off when she discovered the joy of working with her own dogs and seeing them actively participate in learning. She also found a passion for improving behaviour issues, after adopting a dog with behavioural challenges and diving into the fascinating world of behaviour modification.Amanda enjoys trying any activity she can with her dogs, from scent detection and tracking, to agility, to bringing her dogs sailing. She shares her home with her husky, Ylva, and husky/shepherd mix, Fen. She also teaches piano professionally to students of all ages. She is passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their goals.
