Advanced I Obedience
Intended for the dog who has already had basic training, this course is designed to polish your dog’s response to commands. Building upon your dog’s comprehension of basic obedience commands, we will show you how to increase your dog’s attentiveness in the face of everyday distractions. Exercises include heeling through crowds or toys, recalling through dogs and away from food, and politely greeting other dog-walkers on the street. This course is a MUST for those who want to turn their obedience ‘tricks’ into useful tools for the real world.
Age: 6 months +
Vaccinations: DHPP + Rabies
Pre-requisites: Beginner’s Obedience
PLEASE NOTE THAT COMPLETION OF A BASIC OBEDIENCE CLASS AT ANOTHER DOG TRAINING SCHOOL MAY NOT QUALIFY YOU FOR THIS CLASS. IF YOU COMPLETED BASIC TRAINING ELSEWHERE THAN BEST FRIENDS, PLEASE CALL TO CONFIRM THIS CLASS IS APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR DOG.Class Format: 8 x 1-hour classes, weekly
