This course is designed to help dogs who have some reactivity towards other dogs, and/or have difficulty with focus and attention in a regular group class setting. The small class size (4 dogs maximum) allows plenty of space for each dog and gives dogs and handlers the opportunity to work together in a quieter class setting. Some basic obedience commands will be covered, but the majority of the course will focus on exercises that will help dogs maintain attention on their handler, and skills that will help with reactivity towards other dogs in the real world.
There will be a pre-recorded video that all students must watch prior to arriving at the first class, which will detail class procedure, go over course content, and give an overview as to how classes will be conducted.
NOTE: This course is NOT appropriate for dogs that have reactivity towards humans, or dogs that have any bite history (towards dogs and/or humans). Please contact us via email if you are unsure if your dog is a suitable candidate for this course.
