Nancy Pothier

Nancy has a life-long experience with dogs of all types and character. Previously employed as a sniffer dog handler at the Ottawa airport, she also has been actively involved in fostering puppies intended to become seeing eye dogs from La Fondation Mira, as well as interviewing and guiding people as part of the adoption process at the SPCA. 

In her day job she is certified in adult instructional methodology as well as tactical communication, which she finds closely related to canine training principles.  She has many years of experience in coaching children in various sports.  In her personal life, when she is not with her dogs she enjoys being a hockey mom and player.

Nancy thrives when teaching adults and youth how to bond as a team with their canine companion.  She aspires to help all her students experience the fulfillment that come from creating a well-trained dog!
