Susan Read

Susan has been training dogs for over 20 years.  Her experience extends beyond SAR to include competitive obedience and agility. A school teacher by profession, she also has significant experience as a dog training instructor.

Susan has been involved in K9 SAR for 12 years.  She is a member/K9 trainer/ K9 handler with Georgian Bay SAR as well a member/K9 handler with 1st Special Response Group.   She currently is the only OPP/OSARVA certified dog handler in Central Ontario.  Susan also sits on the OSARVA Board of Directors as the Central Ontario Rep, a post she has held for several years.
