This course is designed to give you, the trainer, the fundamental tools and techniques you need to make your dog a good canine citizen. We cover some basic obedience commands and classes also include problem solving, working through distractions, dog training theory and tips on raising a companion dog.

PLEASE NOTE:   Week 1 is a theory presentation.  Dogs do not attend this particular class but we will review proof of vaccinations at that time.

Does your dog jump on everyone they meet? Counter surf? Bark for attention? Drag you through the front door and then around the neighbourhood on every walk? These are only some of the topics that will be covered in this 3 hour Q&A session on how to improve your dog’s basic manners.  Participants will have the opportunity to send in questions/topics they would like to have covered at the time of registration.

Please note: complex behaviour topics such as separation anxiety, reactivity towards humans and/or other dogs, resource guarding etc. will NOT be covered during this session
