Note that a crate is mandatory for all Rally O classes. Dogs must be friendly/neutral to people and other dogs.
There are many skills needed to be successful in a trial other than the core technical ones. From acclimation to ring entrances, this workshop will explore how to prepare your dog for participating in in-person rally trials.
Participants: 6 working spots , 3 observer slots
Prerequisites for working spot: 2 x DHPP, 12+ weeks of age, people and dog friendly / neutral
Prerequisites for observers: None
Format: 1 evening, 2 hours in length

Overview of how the CARO working classes function and an introduction to Exercises 1 to 5 of the CARO Working Rally stream. Drop on Recall, Retrieve on the Flat, Barrell Racing, Directed Jumping, Designated Retrieve.

Rally Obedience is obedience, with a twist! Rally is a fabulous sport to build a positive and fun handler/dog bond. Teams quickly and accurately negotiate a numbered course, moving from station to station, performing obedience exercises at each one along the way. This workshop will introduce participants to the basic rules of the sport and the Novice level signs.
