This workshop is designed to address several challenges that a dog and handler will encounter on an agility course, while continuing to proof that highly desirable independent two-on-two-off contact position.
Skills in the workshop include contact/tunnel discrimination; “flips” and tight turns between the contacts and tunnels; independent contact performance for gamblers; and proofing skills with speed and handler motion. Handlers will also learn how to avoid making the number one contact training mistake that almost every other agility competitor makes – even the really good ones.
Dogs enrolled in this workshop should have a good understanding of two-on-two-off. If you are unsure if your dog has the required skills, please contact us for more information.
Prerequisites: Intermediate Agility, dog-friendly dog,and solid understanding of contact foundations.
