ExpiredGambler’s Mini-Workshop and Fun Match

New this year at Best Friends – a mini-workshop and fun match! A maximum of 6 handlers and their dogs may attend the one hour mini-workshop prior to the Gambler Fun Match. Workshop participants will be given both general and class specific rundown of the rules for AAC and UKI Gambler. Participants will also practice a variety of handling skills that will help every team be successful on every Gambler course; game strategies and course design will also be discussed. Shortly after the workshop, the Fun Match will begin! Up to 15 dog and handler teams will have the opportunity to run twice (maximum 60 seconds on course, just like at a real event!), on two different gambler courses (four runs total). Starters, Advanced, and Masters handling challenges will be offered on nested courses. Judging will be provided to those that request it.

Mini-workshop and Fun Match: $40

Fun Match: $20 (4 runs on two courses)

Workshop

Prerequisites: Intermediate Agility or equivalent, dog-friendly dog, and dog must be able to work off leash around other dogs (good recall)
