Are you, or are you considering becoming, a dog foster family? Have questions on how to integrate your foster with your own family? How to interpret the signals that they are giving you? Are housebreaking, crate training, counter surfing, resourcing guarding, pulling on walks or other behaviours making it harder to care for them?
Best Friends has designed a lecture-based course just for you! We’ll cover the basics on canine behaviour, how dogs learn, how to teach obedience basics, look at management tools and how they work and more to help you help your foster be the very best dog that they can be!
This course is for handlers/fosters only, so please leave your dog at home. We’ll have some demonstration dogs on site to assist. Bring a chair, a note pad and all of your questions!
