Jill Sullivan

Jill has been taking classes at Best Friends since she moved to Ottawa from the Maritimes,  and it is here where she discovered her love for the sport of agility,  competing successfully with her boxer Jasmine.

After retirement from agility,  Jasmine became a therapy dog , visiting CHEO, and helping elementary students with their reading.   Jill also serves on the Board of Directors for Ottawa Therapy Dogs.

Jill enjoys seeing the teamwork between dogs and owner grow,  while having fun and learning new skills.    She has completed the coursework for the  Best Friends Professional Dog Trainers Program and her M.Sc. in Psychology, and experience teaching at a university made the transition to teaching dog training classes a natural fit. She is superbly equipped to help both owners and dogs learn.
